This is a great riff book, full of dark Dark stuff (can this really be his name?), and one chapter ("Bloodier than Blood") about music, that is on the same level as Greil Marcus. The whole point of the book is to wield the Bible as a bludgeon and a screwdriver and a knife stabbing into the heart of the be|From Publishers Weekly|Readers of Dark's book Everyday Apocalypse know that this high school English teacher is a passionate, articulate, absurdly well-read interpreter of popular culture. But even the forewarned may be astonished by this latest effort. D
